Her truly international background Chinese origin, educated in the U.S. and married to a British with two teenage daughters gives her a unique understanding of the interracial marriages and related cross-cultural issues. Judy is a qualified Infant Massage instructor and conducts both individual and group infant massage classes. Infant massage is beneficial for stimulation of the babys physiological systems, brain development, relaxation, relief from symptoms such as colic and improving the bonding process between parent and baby. Previously Judy worked as a neonatal intensive care nurse in a maternity ICU.
Judy also conducts one-on-one Play Therapy sessions to help children who are experiencing a wide range of social, emotional, behavioural and learning difficulties. Play Therapy helps children develop responsibility, respect and acceptance of self and others and improves social and relational skills with the family. Judy believes strongly in the value of Play Therapy in supporting families to ensure that each child reaches their developmental milestones and their full potential. She has helped children with mild to severe emotional and developmental issues (bereavement & loss, separation, high anxiety, aggression) work through their problems.
